great vid but i disagree with the food. i drive and camp with my SUV. that can get me pretty deep in the woods. also i have my 5yr old son with me when i go. i have a small gas grill and i take everything from hot dogs and beans to NY strip and bake potatos. clean up is easy’est when cooking steaks and veggies!!!

This video has some great tips, especially don’t set up camp in a flood zone.

There may be a heavy down pour of rain 50 miles away and yet it is fine weather where you are camping.

Flood water can travel quickly to where you are located and without warning a dry creek can fill with water.

Rice and Pasta are the best dishes for camping. Easy, delicious and enough calories for hiking.
Not to mention rice has hundreds of receipes.
